Jacinda’s practice areas encompass mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, corporate restructurings and corporate advisory work. She has broad transaction experience across industries and jurisdictions, and her clients span local and foreign individuals, private and public companies and multinational corporations. She has held appointments as company secretary of both public listed and private companies. Jacinda has more than a decade of experience in practice and was a partner at one of the large law firms in Singapore prior to joining the firm in 2016.

  • Acted in the recent divestment of a local high precision manufacturing business to a Swiss purchaser with a transaction value in excess of S$100 million
  • Acted in the recent sale of a foreign exchange trading platform to the local stock exchange with a transaction value in excess of S$100 million
  • Acted in the recent pre-acquisition restructuring of an American surfacing solutions group by a Netherlands purchaser with wider transaction value in excess of US$800 million
  • Advised on recent private equity investments into the local investment vehicle of a British multinational consumer goods company
  • Advised on local aspects for the recent €13 billion merger of a French utility group into a third party consortium
  • Acted in the merger and restructuring of distributors in the brewery and beverage industries
  • Acted in the amalgamation of entities of a local construction group and subsequent sale to a Japanese listed company
  • Acted in the initial public offerings and reverse takeovers of companies in the manufacturing, engineering, resource and medical industries on the stock exchange
  • Acted in schemes of arrangement of both listed and private companies
  • Acted in multi-jurisdictional projects including in lead project management roles and handling ASEAN cross border aspects
  • Advised banks, multinationals and other clients on regulatory and compliance matters, including on local securities legislation, financial regulatory authority requirements, financial market infrastructures and statutory corporate compliance
  • Advised on investment, commercial and specialised contracts and documents such as transfer pricing documentation to adopt tax benchmarking analyses
